jobsDB recently conducted a survey with 124 Hong Kong employers on their hiring plans and salary projections for 2016. The report reveals a more cautious outlook amongst hirers this year, with a predicted average salary adjustment of +3.4%, compared to last year’s +4.0%.

76% of fresh graduates express satisfaction with their first jobs

The new year is off to a good start as 91% of fresh graduates report landing their first jobs within three months after graduation, according to jobsDB’s survey. Of these, 76% said they were satisfied with their jobs and 52% are planning to stay between one to three years. The survey also reveals an average monthly salary of $13,413, hitting the expected range of $12,000 – $14,000 for their skill level.
