Our success is built on our relationships with our hirers and candidates, these relationships are based on trust and integrity.
Finding the right talent in the right time frame is always a challenge in a market like Hong Kong with its low unemployment rate. In an effort to overcome this, we recently developed a number of new products and innovative features based on candidate needs to
attract their responses. This includes the “Search by Salary” function allowing candidates to match their salary expectations and help hirers receive more relevant applications; a new job search mobile app for anytime and anywhere job searching – this is where our reach is growing with over a million downloads expected soon; recommended jobs based on candidate behavior and interests which will further match relevancy for both hirers and candidates.
As the global trend of online sharing continues to increase, jobsDB believes this is the right time to expand the reach of job ads and start targeting the passive seeker market to offer more value and generate responses for our hirers. Revamping our “Recruitment Centre” and “Talent Search” products are some of our recent projects working towards this goal. Our teams are also putting tremendous effort in building the candidate database and educating the candidate market about this change. We believe as our talent base of candidates continues to grow, the better the search experience and results hirers will have. Shortly after implementing these changes, we have already seen notable growth and heard inspiring success stories of hirers finding the right
talent for their job with our Talent Search platform.
We do understand that there may be concerns on data privacy and security and we remain humble in listening to these concerns to understand different points of view. We believe that the quality of our service and the high data security standards we have delivered over the last 17 years remain the cornerstone of our business. jobsDB will continue to maintain this high integrity in protecting our customer data, following strict internal and government policies against all potential attacks or threats. At the same time, we will continue to only use data provided for job matching purposes to improve the service and the experience for hirers and candidates.
