Job hunting status



Among the respondents who are employed, 24% of them changed job in the past 12 months, increased by 3% compared with last year.



When compared by work experience, respondents with less experience were more active in job-changing last year. One-third of respondents (34%) with 0 – 2 years of work experience have changed their job in the past 12 months, while only 22% of respondents with 6 or more years of experience reported job-changed.

The most common reasons for changing job are “Not satisfied with current salary/benefit” (42%), followed by “Better opportunities available” (25%) and “Discontent with company culture” (24%).

Among respondents who changed jobs in the previous year, 70% of them think their new job is better than the old one while 20% of them do not perceive a noticeable change after taking up their new job.
