Terms & Conditions

1) By submitting the forms, the eligible participant is deemed to have agreed to

  • Participating in the Contest;
  • Be bound by the Terms and Conditions herein, including the decisions of jobsDB concerning this Contest; and
  • The Privacy Policy contained this Terms and Conditions.

2) Promoter:

jobsDB.com is referred to interchangeably in these Conditions as Promoter.

3) Eligibility:

Information on how to enter forms part of these conditions of entry. Participation in this promotion constitutes acceptance of these conditions of entry. Entry is only open to jobsDB members in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand over the age of 18, except directors, management and employees (and the immediate families of directors, management and employees) of the Promoter or the agencies or companies associated with this promotion.

4) Privacy:

Your privacy is important to us. The Promoter has its own terms of use which explains how we collect and use personal information you provide to us.

5) Entry method:

To enter the contest and be eligible to win, entrants must submit a complete company review. This company review must comply with our community guidelines (detailed below) and must be in reference to an employer the entrant has worked for.

6) Multiple entries:

Entrants may submit multiple entries, but only one entry per company reviewed will be considered for the prize.

7) Contest period:

The promotion commences on 2 September 2015 and entries must be received no later than 30 November 2015 (or such other time as may be determined by the Promoter at its discretion). The Promoter accepts no responsibility for lost, late, illegible or misdirected entries.

8) Prize detail:

There will be one major prize of a new iPad Air 2 (16GB) model. This prize is non-exchangeable and non-transferable. The winner will be selected by the head office of jobsDB at its sole discretion for the best completed company review from all eligible entries collected by jobsDB and 2 arm’s-length companies of jobsDB during the contest period. The winning entry will be determined on 30 November 2015 at the head office of jobsDB. jobsDB should not be responsible for any losses, maintenance or damage on the prize after it is redeemed.

9) Notification to winner:

The winner will be notified by the email included on the review form and/or associated with their jobsDB account. In the event of a prize not being accepted or claimed within 14 working days of notification of the result, the relevant prize winner’s entry will be deemed invalid and the Promoter will have the right to draw another random entry and select an alternate winner.

10) Terms:

The Promoter may, in its sole discretion, disqualify all entries from, and prohibit further participation in this contest by, any person who tampers with or benefits from any tampering with the entry process or with the operation of the contest or acts in violation of these conditions, acts in a disruptive manner or acts with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.

The Promoter, its associated agencies and companies and the agencies and companies associated with this contest will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any persons negligence) in connection with this contest or accepting or using a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).

The Promoter reserves the right at its absolute discretion to vary, delete or add to any of these Terms and Conditions without prior notice during the contest period.


jobsDB wishes to collect, and make available to its users, the Content you submit. (“Content”) means any submission to jobsDB by its users, including salaries, company ratings and reviews, company information, interview reviews, company photos, comments, opinions, postings, messages, text, files, images, photos, or other materials you find on jobsDB.

jobsDB reserves the right not to publish any Content that is found to not meet our community guidelines, and remove any content post-publication it deems inappropriate. These guidelines preclude any submissions that are found to include information that is found to be libellous, factually incorrect, incentivised by third parties, naming individuals or disclosing personal information, contain poor grammar or offensive language, referencing illegal activities, sensitive company information, or any form of submission not deemed helpful to, or in the spirit of helping, our community.

jobsDB do not claim ownership in any Content that you submit, but to be able to legally provide this Content, we have to have certain rights to use such Content in connection with jobsDB. By submitting any Content to jobsDB, you hereby grant to us an unrestricted, irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, fully-paid and royalty-free, license (with the right to sublicense through unlimited levels of sublicensees) to use, copy, perform, display, create derivative works of, and distribute such Content in any and all media (now known or later developed) throughout the world. You warrant this Content is original work and not covered by any copyright or similar restrictions. No compensation will be paid with respect to the Content that you post through jobsDB. You should only submit Content to jobsDB that you are comfortable sharing with others under these terms. jobsDB does not commit in any way to using any Content submitted and will determine what and when to use any element at its sole discretion.
