- Greet visitors and callers, handle their inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate persons according to their needs
- Answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals
- Arrange conferences, meetings, and travel reservations for office personnel
- Schedule and confirm appointments for clients, customers, or supervisors
- Compose, type, and distribute meeting notes, routine correspondence, and reports
- Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
- Updates payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers.
- Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave and nontaxable wages.
- Good computer literacy, especially in using Microsoft Office software;
- Fair command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; and
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
