Our client is a listed manufacturer seeking a high calibre candidate to join their Internal Audit team as an Assistant Manager. Candidate with less experience will be considered for a Senior Internal Auditor position.
Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit, you will lead teams to carry out financial and operational audits. You will take charge throughout the audit planning stage to execution and the preparation of audit reports. You will work closely with the Head of Internal Audit as well as other internal stakeholders to identify areas of risk and make recommendations to make remedial actions, strengthen the group's internal controls, and contribute to the group's various policies and procedures.
The successful applicant should be a Bachelor Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines with a professional qualification such as CPA, CIA, or CISA. You should have 5-7 years of experience in a sizable organization, with strong exposure in the manufacturing field; and at least 3 years of experience in a reputable international CPA firm. Any experience in PRC tax rules and accounting standards, and IT Audit will be a plus. You should be a proactive candidate with strong analytical skills. Excellent interpersonal skills is a must as you will need to communicate with different stakeholders across the hierarchy. Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese is a must. ~50% travel within the Greater China region will also be required.
