Risk and Administration is dedicated to manage operational risk, internal control, quality and sustainability across Operations, Services and Technology. We also play a key role in driving robust service culture by managing customer feedback and incidents to ensure service delivery excellence, as well as providing consistent and strong operational support to our business partners on procurement management, financial planning and knowledge management.
Should you join our Risk and Administration function, you will contribute in driving continuous quality improvement to increase business partner and customer satisfaction. You will have opportunity to take part in formulating internal control strategy and fostering an effective risk and control environment. You will work closely with various departments to understand their operational and procurement needs, so as to structure comprehensive solutions to aid them to operate efficiently and excellently.
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Assistant Procurement Operations Manager.
Perform best in class Procurement Operations duties to support bankwide functions to ensure business is 100% align with purchasing and supplier risk management policy requirement
Perform checking on business functions for their purchasing and supplier risk management operations by reviewing the supplier risk assessment results and relevant supporting documents to ensure they are align with procedural requirement
Review Business’s Operational Risk Control Assessment and give commentary where necessary
Liaise with Business Risk and Control Department and Internal audits to provide quality support on their subsequent enquiries and reviews
Review the internal control testing results completed by Business Risk and Control Department and issue a internal control review report to senior management
Provide training and guidance to business users and other stakeholders to ensure purchasing and Supplier Risk Management requirements are fully implemented
Review and revamp internal procedures to cope with the change requirement from FIM update
Review and ensure the accuracy and completeness on Management Information Reports and ensure to meet the deadline of submission
Manage contracts registration and custody
Support bankwide launch and implementation of Purchasing policy
Timely response to internal users' requests on Procurement Operations Team duties
- University Graduate in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management or others related disciplines
- Minimum 5 years’ procurement experience or risk control experiences in respective areas
- Strong knowledge in purchasing process, tender documents, contracts
- Strong sense and skill in communication, negotiation and supplier risk management
- Strong writing skill for preparation of tender documents, contracts, purchase proposals, management reports, etc
- Good relationship management skills with internal and external parties
- Proficiency in the use of MS Office
- Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
(Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of Procurement Operations Officer.)
