The appointee(s) at the Assistant Professor level will be responsible for the course planning, development, coordination and delivery (including classroom teaching) in related disciplines at the undergraduate level. He/she will also be required to engage in scholarly activities as well as participate in School/University activities and administration.
The appointee(s) at the Lecturer level will be responsible for providing assistance in course planning and development as well as undertaking course coordination and delivery (including classroom teaching) in related disciplines at the undergraduate level. He/she will also be expected to participate in scholarly activities and School/University activities.
The appointee(s) at the Teaching Assistant level will be responsible for providing assistance in planning, development, coordination and delivery and undertake classroom teaching of courses in related disciplines at the undergraduate level. He/she will also be expected to participate in School/University activities.
Applicants for Assistant Professor should have an earned doctorate in a relevant discipline. They should also have relevant teaching/professional experience including programme development and course administration. A record of research and peer-reviewed publications, involvement in professional and community activities are required.
Applicants for Lecturer should have a higher degree in a relevant discipline. Relevant teaching/professional experience is preferred.
Applicants for Teaching Assistant should have a recognized degree, preferably a higher degree, in a relevant discipline. Relevant teaching/professional experience will be an advantage.
A good command of English and Chinese (preferably including Putonghua) is required for all applicants.
Terms of Appointment
Successful candidates will be appointed on a full-time fixed term contract. Fringe benefits will include annual leave, medical & dental benefits, life insurance coverage and gratuity, where applicable.
