The appointee will be responsible for providing support for a wide range of duties under the purview of the Registry including development of academic policies and regulations; academic development; student assessment and records; student admissions; academic quality assurance; learning and teaching and organization of University-wide events, etc. The appointee will also serve or join various boards and/or committees as required, and will work closely with various academic and non-academic units of the University in discharging responsibilities.
Applicants should have a recognized degree with substantial experience in administration and committee work at tertiary institutions or relevant public organizations. They should be a highly independent administrative leader with an excellent command of English and Chinese, and strong communication, interpersonal and organization skills. Literacy in computer applications will be an advantage.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract. Any further appointment will be subject to availability of funding and needs. Fringe benefits include contract-end gratuity, leave, medical and dental benefits, and where applicable, housing benefits.
