Our client, a reputable international bank, is looking to hire an Associate- Trade Finance Operations. This role provides processing support for Asia Trade Finance clients and to create an exceptional customer experience by demonstrating operational excellence.
- Maintain a proficient understanding of all Trade Finance products and services, UCP standards and related guidelines;
- Provide professional and ethical behaviour in your actions by ensuring compliance with external legislation, bank standards and internal operating policies and procedures relevant to the position;
- Transactions booking, passing of journal entries, preparation of SWIFT message, customer advice, bank schedules, and various regulatory reports;
- To monitor and reconcile exposures to the Bank's credit control system for transactions relating to trade finance and ensure such are conducted on a timely and accurate fashion;
- Interact with the Asia Trade Sales teams in each country location to ensure transactions are being transmitted, processed, followed up and settled in line with set client service standards;
- To participate in the system testing to ensure operations functions are properly and effectively executed.
- University graduate in Finance, Business Administration or relevant is preferred.
- Minimum 4 years experience in trade finance operations from international bank environment.
- Well versed in trade finance guideline and UCP standards
- Sounds knowledge in using SWIFT.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese
