Urgent hire for a Company Secretary to join a Private Equity firm!
Your new company Our client's is an investment holding company principally engaged in the sales and development of properties. Currently a Company Secretary opportunity is open for applicant to work autonomously on meaningful matters and to gain valuable experience.
Your new role
The Company Secretary is sought to be responsible for providing full set of secretarial support for Hong Kong regional office, ensuring the company conforms to the standard legal and statutory obligations and maintains high standards of corporate governance. You will be working as a trusted advisor to provide strategic advice to the board and the management team of the new corporate governance requirements, and organizing all board meetings from meeting logistics to taking minutes, to facilitating board communications, as well as maintaining the company's books, records & registers. Apart from that you will be handling all the documents in relation to bond issue, corporate finance and any special projects.
What you'll need to succeed
As a degree holder and member of HKICS or ICSA or equivalent, with 5+ years working experiences gained from Listco and/or property developer, your thorough understanding of listing rules, SFO, Companies Ordinance, Contractual Law, Trademark and Patent application and renewal will be crucial to your success in the role. Your customer orientation, influencing skills, top notch to details and organized approach will hold you in good stead to meet the challenges of the role. Proficient/Native in English, fluent Mandarin and Cantonese with be an advantage.
