Dynamics of the Role
We are seeking an innovative Content, PR and Social Media Consultant to join the Marketing Team.
How You’ll Contribute:
Works directly with the Marketing Manager to develop direct-to-consumer focused public relations, content and social media strategy. Assists in a wide array of activities including media relations, social media community management, SEO optimization and internal communications for Transunion’s international emerging markets.
Manages public relations and social media channel budgets and day-to-day activities of agency teams to build and execute brand awareness campaigns for TransUnion and their consumer products.
Manages the direct-to-consumer social media strategy efforts, including serving as liaison to outside vendors as needed, developing the approach for expanding the social media presence and acquiring new members, building the content strategy and conducting reporting and analytics reports.
Implements social media initiatives including but not limited to: Facebook page management, YouTube consumer playlist management. Social Listening to ensure all mentions and conversations around brands are addressed as needed.
Works closely with the direct to consumer marketing teams to execute proper tracking and coding implementation to maximize reporting capabilities.
Ensure a well-planned cadence of content is curated, updated, on-brand, and is consistent in terms of quality and tone of voice for media channels.
Works closely with the regional development teams when needed to review, edit, and modify web site content.
What You’ll Bring:
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute against creative social media strategy
Strong content development and management skills
Thorough understanding of digital marketing channels, strategies, and ROI metrics
Demonstrated success managing PR communications including outside agencies
Must have in-depth knowledge of the professional use of social media platforms and an expert in best practices and emerging trends across platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram), management tools (Sprinklr) and social media activation (paid, earned, owned).
Excellent communication skills and proven success partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver results
