Responsible for ensuring optimal cost, highly efficient, quality and sustained generation and distribution of utilities for the factory operation. i.e. steam refrigeration, water and effluent treatment, hygienic air handling and compress air.
1. Define and adhere to standards
Plans, performs and manages design, modification and improvements to industrial services plant, equipment and infrastructure.
Utilizing own area of competency and specialization or with competent 3rd parties
2. Manager existing assets
a. Supports operation of industrial services to ensure high efficiency, quality and compliance. Assists in the budgeting and cost monitoring of industrial services. Identifies and drives energy and water saving opportunities.
b. Manages quality, environmental and internal and external compliance requirements for industrial services through management and monitoring processes and routines.
c. Ensure process and personnel safety with regard to industrial services plant and equipment. From design and installation through to routine and periodic safety inspections
Engineering Degree/Diploma (e.g. mechanical, electrical) or substantial practical experience in engineering
Minimum 3 years experience in at least one Industrial Services engineering discipline, preferably in food related manufacturing environment
Industrial refrigeration background and ammonia experience preferred
Experience on operation or supervising others who operate fired pressure systems (boilers) or other large combustion systems
Knowledge of local regulatory and statutory requirements relating to industrial services and environment
Strong leadership and change management skills
Good interpersonal and influencing skills
Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese
Proficient PC skills with knowledge in AutoCAD
