IT Officer (holding the functional title of IT PMO Analyst) in the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine(Ref.: 201601609) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a good Bachelor's degree or a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline, with at least 6 years’ work experience in the IT Industry of which 3 years’ hands-on experience in working in a PMO in delivering sizeable projects portfolio. They should be well versed in IT Governance, Information Security, Project Management Life Cycle, and Software Development Life Cycle; have strong knowledge of IT Industrial standard like SEI/CMMI, ITIL, etc., strong knowledge of SDLC like waterfall, SCRUM, Agile, Extreme Programming; have strong problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills; be independent, creative and mature with a strong sense of responsibility; possess a good command of both oral and written English and a can-do spirit; and be a good team player.
The appointee is expected to manage and deliver IT Governance processes in programme management, project delivery, vendor engagement model, and operational excellence. He/She will build IT processes asset library and deliver project management handbook; build deliverable standard template including project plan, requirement specification, functional specification, systems integration specification, UAT plan, UAT case, etc.; manage user relationship and stakeholder satisfaction of all levels; and act as a change agent to drive IT cultural change processes. He/She is also required to perform any other relevant duties as assigned. Occasional travelling outside Hong Kong may be required.
