Legal Counsel for a Manufacturing Company

Our client a rapidly expanding manufacturing company is looking for a Legal Counsel to join their team in Hong Kong. This is a new position reporting to the Chief Operating Officer.
A general practice role, you will be covering commercial, corporate, employment and disputes issues. You will be the key contact for contracts throughout the region and will provide legal advice and support on transactions supporting day-to-day operations of the company, including drafting, negotiating and closing of commercial contracts. In addition, you will help provide strategic legal advice and counsel to engineering and manufacturing, as well as sales, finance, IT, human resources, and other internal groups across the company.
Strong commercial, corporate and employment law experience
Hong Kong Qualified preferred
Previous in-house experience in the manufacturing sector will be highly advantageous.
Exposure to some PRC legal matters preferred but not essential
Must be able to speak and write English and Mandarin
