A leading investment bank is keen to take on a structured products lawyer to join their well-established legal team.
Our client is a well established investment bank with a sizable legal team of around 9 lawyers. Given team expansion and new headcount in 2017, they are eager to take on a new lawyer for the team.
Working in a team covering the region, you will provide transactional and advisory legal support to a variety of structured products such as the drafting and negotiating of structured derivatives documentation including OTC, ISDA and securitized format, advising on structured products programme including the handling of trade documentation and issuance of these products, handling queries from the business and other support functions in relation to the programme, and review all related term sheets, distribution agreements/trading platform agreements.
The successful candidate will have at least 2 years' PQE obtained in the areas of structured products, such as derivatives, OTC and/or ISDA. You will have worked in sizable law firms or other financial institutions, with an interest to further your career within the in house sector by continuing within the area of products. You will be a team player with strong communication skills. Fluent English and Chinese is required, as is conversational Mandarin. Lawyers at mid to senior level will be considered for more senior roles within the team.
