Part-time Project Co-ordinator II (Ref. 160002CI) (closing date: December 13, 2016)
Applicants should have (i) a good Bachelor’s degree; (ii) at least 2 years’ work experience in providing administrative services or support for academic programmes; (iii) an excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese; (iv) excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills; (v) the ability to work independently and under pressure; (vi) a strong sense of responsibility; (vii) good computer skills; and (viii) the ability to be a good team player. Duties include (a) co-ordinating programme administration tasks and handling student matters to facilitate smooth operation of the Department and its self-financed programme; (b) liaising with internal academic and administrative units, and external professional organisations on programme matters; (c) assisting in the promotion of academic programmes locally, in the Mainland and overseas, where applicable; (d) providing administrative and secretarial support for the departmental committees; (e) assisting in office administration; (f) facilitating the organisation of academic and student activities; and (g) performing other tasks as assigned. Appointment will be made on a 3-month contract commencing in January 2017, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
