Recommend and implement marketing strategies and activities that will result in:
Improvement in sales and profit growth of allocated product
Improvement in market share of allocated product
Optimizing short and long term profit potential of product in respective market segment
Product Plans in line with Novartis IPS (Integrated Product Strategy) – Develop a realistic and consistent Product Strategic Marketing Plan in line with Novartis processes and corporate strategy.
Tactical Marketing Plan – Develop, implement and critically review the tactical in line with corporate strategic product objectives and local IPS. Work with field force to ensure implementation of tactical marketing plan.
Communication within Novartis – Communicate effectively within the organization, including the sales force and cross functional team, to ensure the achievement of Product objectives and company priorities.
Communication with Key Customers – Develop and maintain effective working relationships with Customers to support current and future business activities.
Product Leader and Champion – Be recognized as the Product Leader and Marketing Expert by developing and continuously updating knowledge on Therapy, Product and Market.
Product Performance – Monitor and control Product Performance (sales, market share and profitability) and adjust plans accordingly.
Inventing the Future – Closely work together with Medical team to anticipate future trends in disease management and market environment which are likely to affect the performance and potential of the Product.
Ensure all business activities comply with relevant Acts, legal demands and ethical standards.
- Degree preferably in life science or marketing, with MBA will be an advantage.
- At least 5 years product management experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare related industry with successful track record Experience in Oncology market will be an advantage.
- Result driven and customers focus.
- Analytical and excellent strategic thinking.
- Able to establish and communicate clear marketing objectives with clear success measures. Know how to motivate Sales Force to achieve or exceed set goals.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
- Strong PC skills in MS word, Excel and Access.
