Ideal for candidates with solid product and technical knowledge
Our client is a multinational company in small domestic appliances. The brand has strong presence around the globe with well established worldwide distribution channels for various type of products. They are now looking for a solid project management talent to mange the overall product development.
Reporting directly to GM, you will be accountable in managing the overall product development projects, from design to mass production. With solid product knowledge and project management skills, you will involve in the NPD process for better productivity and innovation whilst develop key milestones to keep track on the scheduling and costing of the projects. You will utilise your supplier network and engineering tools to monitor the supplier performance and their manufacturing process to ensure the practicability and feasibility of the products.
To qualify, you will have an Engineering Degree in electrical with at least 6 years of experience in project management for new product development. Prior experience in handling small domestic appliances, especially Coffee machine / Blender/ Mixer is highly preferred. Open to travelling, you will visit suppliers in China to monitor the manufacturing process. Good command of Cantonese, English and Mandarin is required.
