They have identified APAC region as the next growth engine and to cope with this exciting growth plan, they are setting up a new APAC office in Hong Kong and are recruiting for an experienced regional sales & marketing professional to take up a management role, where you will set up and manage the business to achieve business and brand growth. Reporting into Global Headquarters, you will play a critical role in setting up the APAC business and building a strong team to support the exciting growth in the region. You will develop and implement an effective regional growth strategy; recruit and motivate a team of sales, operations, marketing and finance professionals to achieve objectives. You will leverage your expertise and regional customer & sales network to further penetrate businesses and develop new markets in the APAC region, with an initial focus in the wholesale business. You will work with the sales team to develop effective regional distribution strategy; while driving sound marketing strategy with your marketing team. Working closely with the Headquarters, you will take on a high level strategic role, and act as a liaison between regional and global team to align HQ’s global brand strategy and corporate identity. You will have P&L responsibility and some regional and international traveling is to be expected.
You will be a degree graduate with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in business management especially in sales, key account and marketing, preferably in a regional setting. You will be a strategically minded and commercially astute executive with excellent sales, business development and client management expertise. You will have managed P&L with track record in delivering business goals, driving sales and building strong brand with top notch experience managing and building robust client relationships. You will be a highly self-motivated and results-oriented manager with an entrepreneurial mindset. Previous experience setting up a new team or working in a start-up environment is highly regarded. You will be an inspiring leader with a charismatic personality, who can manage & motivate team and drive for results, yet able to roll up sleeves and be hands-on when necessary. You will enjoy working in a dynamic & fast-paced environment. Exceptional communication skills and fluency in English is a must while Asian languages especially Chinese and Korea / Japanese is ideal.
