A high growth opportunity in the factoring business, commercial clients segment, with a responsibility to handle Factoring deals execution and management. The incumbent will be responsible to drive revenue generation through servicing of existing mandates and helping initiation of new mandates.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
o Manage and grow Hong Kong Factoring business by achieve target for addition of buyers under new and existing clients.
o Drive utilization of limits by engaging with RMs/Clients and rationalize limits as per client needs.
o Understand clients' business needs and propose suitable Factoring solutions.
o Delivering factoring client revenues budgeted for the year.
o Work closely with Buyer Account Managers on a day to day basis to deliver the Bank's Factoring proposition effectively.
o Implement the factoring deals efficiently with strict TATs.
o Provide inputs to technology teams for future enhancements towards factoring system.
o Engage with credit insurance agencies to arrange and manage insurance limits on client.
o Engage the business, technology, product, operations, legal and compliance teams in an efficient way for seamless deal implementation.
o Perform analysis of clients' trade receivables as a part of overall credit analysis.
o Monitor and review the performance of seller portfolio of trade receivables.
o Engage with clients/RMs for timely renewal of facility.
o Co-ordinate with the client to get its books of accounts audited.
o Streamlining work processes within the unit to ensure smooth running of the unit and eliminate delay in turnaround times.
o Continually analyze market and keep track of competition and further develop/fine-tune strategy for factoring business to ensure robust growth in business and strong risk control measures.
o Continually explore all existing SCB relationships for factoring opportunities.
o Ensure the product offering follows the PPG/CA
Qualifications and Skills
University graduate, preferably in a business or finance related discipline Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese Detailed minded, reliable and well organized Mature and independent, self-motivated / a strong team player Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment Advance level in Microsoft Excel is preferable
