What will I be doing?
As an Associate Consultant, you will be supporting a team of high performing consultants where your key focus will be generating high calibre candidates using different sourcing techniques such as writing and posting job ads, generating referrals, networking, cold calling and headhunting. You will develop an in-depth understanding of the recruitment industry, the recruitment process and specific market sector you work in. You will be committed to providing quality consultative advice on the job market to people interested in new job opportunities. You will be discipline specific blogs about your market sector. The team you work with want to mentor, support and inspire you to be the best you can be. For the rest of the time, you will also be trained as a 360 degree Recruitment Consultant where you will manage and develop your own portfolio of clients, attend client briefings and reviews, interview candidates, and liaise with clients and candidates to fulfil their recruitment requirements.

We spend a lot of time talking to bankers that we haven’t met before. In order to be successful in the role, you will need to be comfortable in your ability to talk to and quickly build rapport with people from all walks of life.

You will need to understand our clients and how to identify the talent they are looking for. You will also need to understand what motivates people to look for a new job and how to bring them together. This sounds simple, but in invariably quite complex and you need to understand the drivers for both sides to become a successful consultant.
You will have Native level Cantonese language ability as well as fluency in English. Fluency in Mandarin Chinese to business level or above would be desirable.
Due to visa restrictions, you must already have the right to work in Hong Kong – HKID or PR to be considered for this role.
