Alstom has been present in Hong Kong and is a long-term dedicated partner of MTR Corporation of trains, signaling systems, infrastructure (Trackwork and Overhead lines) and services (maintenance, renovation and parts supply) over the last 35 years.
Since its first metro contract awarded in Hong Kong in 1975, Alstom Hong Kong has supplied over 1,100 metro cars for its metro network and equipped six lines with signaling systems currently in operation Tsuen Wan Line (TWL), Island Line (ISL), including West Island Line extension (WIL), Kwun Tong Line (KTL), Airport Express Link (AEL), Tung Chung Line (TCL) and East Rail Line.
On the South Island Line - East, Alstom is supplying its advanced Urbalis CBTC (Communication-Based Train Control) system. This new line is the very first line in Hong Kong to operate driverless trains at a frequency of 3 minutes at peak hours. Alstom is also actively involved in the massive resignaling project of 7 metro lines that has started early 2015 and will continue over a period of 10 years..
Alstom has been awarded by MTR three contracts, South Island Line- East (2012), Kwun Tong Line Extension (2012) and Shatin to Central Link Phase 1(2013) for infrastructure system works (Trackwork and Overhead Line system) which are currently under deployment.
Test & Commissioning (T&C) Engineer

- Support the implementation and execution of the Testing Procedures of the signalling projects.
- Plan and implement the test procedures and tools configuration during the project lifecycle
- Ensures T&C procedures are comply with EHS policy and the company policies and standards
Degree holder in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related engineering disciplines
At least 2 years of experience in railway E&M projects; preferably related to signaling systems
Able to work without direct supervision
Operational and personal safety awareness is essential
Willing to work at night shifts and site works
Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English and Chinese
