Tasks and duties

• Creating detailed building designs and highly precise architectural drawings both by hand and using specialist computer-aided design applications.
• Collaborating with a team of professionals such as construction managers, quantity surveyors and engineering consultants.
• Coordinating the work of contractors to ensure project specifications are met.
• Ensuring that all work is carried out in line with local guidelines, regulations and building codes.
• Working closely with clients to ensure their design visions and requirements are met within the agreed parameters of cost and schedule.
• Writing and presenting reports, proposals, applications and contracts to clients and stakeholders.
• Making onsite visits to check on project status and conducting regular project report progress to stakeholders.
