A Recruitment Consultant works as a link between clients and job seekers, helping organisations fulfil their job vacancies and job seekers to secure job positions. They're responsible for understanding a business's hiring needs, attracting potential employees, screening and interviewing job seekers and making job offers. This role involves a combination of sales, negotiation and human resources skills. They usually work in specialised recruitment agencies, within the HR department of larger businesses or on a freelance basis. The nature of this role requires strong communication skills and the ability to understand different job markets.
