I’m not feeling well”真的太隨意啦,宜列明不舒服原因,令人覺得你不是鬧情緒射波。

Hi Mr. Wong,

I would like to request ten days of sick leave starting 31st August.

I injured my leg over the weekend and tore a ligament on my knee. I was advised by the doctor to stay home for a minimum of two weeks as my daily commute would put a strain on my leg and worsen my condition. I have attached the medical certificate below for your reference.

I would like to let you know that I plan on working remotely for the next two weeks and attend all scheduled team meetings over Zoom. I have a client meeting this Wednesday, which Sarah has agreed to take over as she is up-to-date on the project. We have decided to schedule a quick call after the meeting so she can bring me up to speed.

I will be available to answer emails. For urgent matters, feel free to give me a call on +852 1234 5678.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

 Thank you for your understanding!

Sincerely,

Jack Chan

Hi Humphrey,

I came down with a fever early this morning and plan on taking a sick leave today to rest up and get better. I’ll check my emails periodically and will be available on WhatsApp if you need me for urgent matters.

I hope to be back in the office in full swing tomorrow. See you soon!

Good morning Jessica! I came down with a fever in the wee hours of the morning and I’m afraid I’ll not be able to come into work today.

I don’t have any deadlines or meetings lined up, so I’ve not asked anyone from the team to cover for me.

If there’s anything urgent, feel free to drop me a message here on WhatsApp. I plan on visiting the doctor in about an hour, so I might not respond right away if you try to contact me then.

 I’ll hopefully see you tomorrow!

Hi Benjamin,

My stomach has been upset since yesterday and I’m not feeling any better today. I have reasons to believe I have food poisoning and need to take the day off to consult a doctor. I should be back in the office tomorrow, but if the doctor suggests otherwise, I’ll keep you posted.

One more thing—you and I have an internal meeting scheduled this afternoon to brainstorm campaign strategies for our newest client. Do you mind if we push it back to this Thursday or Friday? Let me know.

If you need to reach me urgently, feel free to give me a call! I’ll keep my phone close by.

Hello Stephanie—Good morning!

I need to take sick leave today as I’m feeling under the weather. My blood pressure levels went off the charts last night and now, I’ve got a bad case of migraine.

I plan to rest for the whole of today and get better, so I won’t be available to reply to emails and messages on Slack.

Just to let you know, I have a report due this afternoon, which Ryan has agreed to help with and submit on my behalf to the client.

I should be well enough to be at work tomorrow. See you!

Hi Kevin!

I’ve been experiencing bouts of cough since last night and believe it’s best if I don’t come to the office today. However, I’ll be working from home.

I’ll be online on Slack throughout the day. If you need to reach me, you know where to find me.

 See you tomorrow!
