[Hong Kong - 31 Mar, 2013] The recruitment market is picking up as more workers are on the move this quarter. According to the jobsDB Q1 2013 Hiring Index, the average turnover rate in the past three months is 8.6% and 82% of employers retain leaving staff by offering higher salaries.
In view of the outbreak of H7N9 flu in China, we also collected information from employers on infectious disease precautions in the survey. Results show that 35% of employers have set up a contingency plan to prepare for an outbreak of infectious disease in Hong Kong.
“jobsDB Hiring Index” provides timely information on the hiring intention and preference of employers in Hong Kong on a regular basis. Since April 2009, jobsDB has been conducting a hiring index survey every three months to keep track of the market changes.
