Employees received an average salary rise of 5.7% in 2018

According to the latest jobsDB Job Seeker Salary Report, more than 70% of local employees received a pay rise in 2018, and the average increment was 5.7%. The average bonus size they received was 1.6 months of basic salary. When asked about the satisfaction with the payout they received, a quarter of respondents said they were dissatisfied with the bonus amount and 46% thought their salary was below market average.

The report also provides insights in respondents’ promotion intention and reasons why some did not want a promotion.
