The role involves drafting pricing strategies ensuring profit maximisation and customer satisfaction; budget preparation and fund allocation for marketing activities; public relation, social media, and content marketing management. To be successful in the role, Marketing managers need sound numeric skills in addition to creativity and advance communication.  They are also required to stay abreast with latest trends and best practices.

Career Summary/ Objective

  • A crisp summary, that captures the essence of a candidate’s career path, helps to encourage and intrigue the recruiter to further read the CV. Share 1 or 2 key achievements and skills in alignment with the job description for each role to which you are applying.

Example:

An innovative Marketing Manager with 6 years of experience in brand building and promotion. Expertise in creating high impact channel marketing programs, setting KPI’s for promotional campaigns, and tracking performance against organizational goals and report on ROI metrics. Efficiently handled annual budget of  HK$2.5 million.


Emphasize on essential points in Work Experience

  • Focus on your expertise in identifying potential markets, target audience, and competitors; share experience related to successfully planning, organizing, and executing promotional marketing campaigns.
  • Emphasize on how effectively you used your key skills (such as creativity, communication, negotiation, teamwork etc.) to create engaging content as well as for interaction with team members, employees, vendors, media, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Highlight your expertise in budget development as well as profit and loss projections. Give quantitative data, wherever possible, to verify your claims. For example- planned and managed annual marketing budget of HK$ 1 million.
