Job Description

This role will assist the HK Finance Team (overseeing APAC - both Hong Kong & Singapore offices) whilst working closely with the UK Finance Team, in a variety of activities related to Accounting and Finance Administration. Providing an efficient and effective finance service and supporting the day to day functions for the Finance Department.

 

About this Opportunity:

  • Preparing monthly office expense folders, which involves checking vendors’ invoices and arranging payments including issuing and posting cheques
  • Timely bank-in cheques from clients and compiling monthly receipts folders
  • Regularly updating invoice log, cheque register and various reports and reconciliations
  • Monitoring transactions and gathering supporting documents on company credit cards monthly statements, flagging discrepancies to senior team members
  • Maintaining petty cash books to include allocation of cash and auditing the expenditure records and receipts
  • Accurately posting journals on Sage ledger and assisting month end procedures
  • Providing calculations and breakdown on employees’ expense claims, contractors sales accruals, intercompany cross charges etc.
  • Preparing detailed records for Singapore GST quarterly filing
  • Handling rebate cases in line with clients’ terms and liaising with consultants
  • Assisting payroll duties as required such as collecting commission sheets
  • Assisting annual external audit as a yearly project
  • Accurately coding, filing and scanning of all accounting documents, in line with audit requirements
  • Providing information to employees and managers on basic finance related queries, escalating where appropriate
  • Providing administrative support on all finance processes, assisting in a range of projects and providing ad-hoc assistance to the wider Finance team where required

 

About You

  • Working to consistently high standards in both numeracy and written work, with corresponding levels of IT literacy
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and good team player
  • Confidence in dealing and communicating effectively with people at all levels
  • Ability to act independently with absolute integrity, loyalty and professionalism
