Job Description

With an immediate requirement to bring onboard an accounting officer for a 12-month contract, a global bank is seeking someone who is able to hit the ground running to produce quality work. This is a great opportunity of accounting graduates for career development and growth. The successful candidate will be tasked with key responsibilities relating to the accounting, taxation, reporting and associated administration of the securitized trusts managed by the bank.

Responsibilities

  • Day to day management of the trust accounts
  • Reconciliation of trust ledgers to the receivables system
  • Funding and treasury forecasting
  • Documenting, reviewing and improving key processes
  • Liaising with fund managers and banks
  • End of month reporting
  • Assist the account closing or new business by gathering relevant information
  • Prepare statistics for management information and planning

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/ finance
  • Excellent command in spoken and written Cantonese, English and Mandarin
  • Good MS Excel skills
  • Customer service oriented
  • Sound analytical and reconciliation skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Pro-active, mature, well-organised and an excellent team player
  • Able to multi-task, prioritse work load and work in a fast paced environment
