Job Description


Become one of the contributor in the actuarial model migration team. Assist the project team in building the new Prophet model for Chubb Life insurance operations in Asia Pacific region. Perform independent verifications on actuarial calculations in the current and new actuarial model, and perform impact analysis on the model changes. Work closely with the regional and local teams to deliver the project according to the agreed timeline.


  • Assist in the Prophet migration project;
  • Perform impact analysis between old and new models, and provide thorough investigation and explanations on the differences;
  • Perform result reconciliation;
  • Develop functional check spreadsheets to validate the calculation functionalities in the new model;
  • Prepare the data required in the new model. Build the data conversion tool according to the requirements;
  • Support local country teams on the dry runs and UATs;
  • Prepare the model documentations, user guide and training materials


  • Degree in Actuarial Science;
  • High level of proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Proficiency in Visual Basic and other programming languages is a plus;
  • Fluent in speaking and written English;
  • A team player with good interpersonal skills, able to work independently and under pressure;
  • Execution oriented;
  • Fresh graduate is welcome
