Job Description

A reputable life insurance firm is looking for a 1 year direct contract for its Pricing team as Actuarial Analyst. Candidates with internship to up to 2 years experience in Actuary are welcomed to apply. This 1 year contract has conversation opportunity to permanent role.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in life product pricing and development as well as product review to support the life business' strategies
  • Support the product pricing and analysis to ensure the new products meet the company's financial and regulatory requirements
  • Closely work with other teams in product implementation to ensure timely and accurate delivery
  • Support the on-going monitoring of product profitability and sustainability
  • Perform market research and competitive analysis to facilitate the recommendations on product architecture and actuarial assumptions / methodology where appropriate

Requirement

  • Undergraduate in Actuarial Science or related disciplines
  • Good progress in actuarial examinations of a recognized actuarial institute
  • Knowledge of life actuarial techniques, tools and methodologies
  • Proficient in MS Offices, VBA and actuarial software
  • Good analytical skills and pay attention to details
  • Fresh graduate with internship experience is also welcome
