Job Description

Administration and Finance Officer for MakerBay

  • Start Date: Immediately

  • Full-time

  • Working hours: 5 days/week. Typically 10:00 - 19:00

  • Locations: Mainly in MakerBay Tsuen Wan. Occasionally in MakerBay Central, Youth Centres partners sites or client venue.

 

MakerBay is looking for an Administrator and Finance Officer who enjoys running the operations of a growing mission-driven organisation that works both as a social enterprise and as a charity. The work requires to be very organised, reliable, responsive, fluent with computer technology, having a knack for numbers and possesses good communication skills in Chinese and English. The working environment is collaborative, friendly and the work is very diverse from day to day. As a rapidly growing organisation, there are many opportunities to learn new professional skills and grow as an individual.

 

Finance

  • Bookkeeping (QuickBooks), Support Audit, Cash Flow Projection

  • Account Receivable / Payable, Petty Cash and Inventory Management

  • Payment of all utility and other bills

 

Administration

  • Manage Memberships

  • Contracts with suppliers and clients

  • Order supplies for different projects

  • Organise the incoming mail and paperwork

  • Communication with potential members and clients

  • Communicate on our website and social media channel

  • Respond to enquiry emails and messages on social media

 

Human Resources

  • Payroll, MPF, Insurance
  • Maintain Leave Records
