Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the unit management in carrying out their administrative duties, such as compilation of information and data, meeting preparation and related logistics, drafting of minutes and consolidation of reports.
  • Perform administrative duties related to the Fundraising and Communications Committee and other governance bodies as required
  • Render support to the implementation of fundraising appeals and activities; face-to-face donor recruitment activities and Oxfam Shop etc.  
  • Provide secretarial support to the Unit Head and general administrative support to the whole Unit.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary educated, with at least 2 years’ relevant working experience in providing administrative support at high level in sizable company
  • Practical experience in serving Committee or Board of Directors with formal secretarial training is preferred
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills, problem analysis and solving skills, well-organized and attention to details
  • Able to work independently and under pressure
  • Proficient in computer applications including MS Office and Chinese word processing
  • Identification with Oxfam’s mission and vision is highly desirable
