Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare full set of accounts
  • Responsible for account receivables / payable to ensure they are settled on time
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements and accounting adjustments for month end closing
  • Liaise with external auditor for annual audit
  • Responsible for preparation and review of management financial reports.
  • Prepare  cash flow analysis, sales analysis, operational and other analysis as appropriate
  • Assist in projects when required
  • Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
  • Assist in interim reviews and annual audits, and the production of interim and annual reports
  • Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
  • Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
  • Assist in tax filings and assist in ad-hoc assignments
  • Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
  • Collect, review and summarize monthly financial information from associates
  • Maintains   financial security by following internal controls.
  • Prepares   payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
  • Assist in tax filings for group companies

 Requirements:

  • 5 years’ solid experience in accounting. Experience in  the education and training industry is a  plus.
  • High proficiency in computer applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Chinese Word Processing and computerized accounting system
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Accountant.
  • Detailed-minded with sound analytical and problem-solving skills; able to demonstrate the ability to challenge assumptions and decisions in an appropriate manner
  • Excellent communication skills in order to drive interactions that build trust and manage expectations with all stakeholders; experience in collaborating with teams Able to work in a self-sufficient manner, operating across multiple projects and priorities; strong time management and organizational skills to meet tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel in preparing financial analysis and reports.
  • Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese  & Mandarin
