Job Description

Job Role

  • Assist Senior Project Manager and / or Project Manager for the building services related construction of the assigned new and / or asset enhancement projects.
  • Liaison, supervision, monitoring and inspection of the building services installation and testing & commissioning activities from design to completion through handover to Business Units and/or Property Services departments until expiry of defect liability period of construction contracts.
  • Ensure projects are delivered to highest standard with due regard to quality, safety, time, cost, sustainability and social responsibility requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Senior Project Manager / Project Manager to ensure the project fully comply with the contract documentations, contracts drawings and comment on contractor’s submission e.g. shop drawings, sample, material and mock up installation etc.
  • Monitor and advise on building services construction planning, programme, quality, cost and report any major / incidents to the Senior Project Manager / Senior Construction Manager.
  • Conduct site inspection on contractor’s work to ensure the quality of works, safety and environmental precaution measures carried out in compliance with the contract document and statutory regulations.
  • Follow up the instructions / directions from the Senior Project Manager / Senior Construction Manager and implement on site.
  • Liaise with the Property Management for the on-site building services activities coordination.
  • Liaise with the Property Management and relevant parties for the building services systems testing & commissioning, handover activities and follow up the status of defects rectification.
  • Night works maybe involved.


Skills, Qualifications and Experience Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years’ management experience in Building Services of building construction and renovation projects.
  • Experience in commercial and retail projects would be an advantage.
  • Initiative, being systematic, able to work under pressure and commit to project deliverables
  • Good leadership, site management and communication skill.
  • Good PC knowledge.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken Chinese and English.
  • A gratuity will be offered upon completion of the contract
