Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute branding and retail marketing programs for assigned product lines to achieve business objectives in collaboration with internal departments and external business partners such as banks, shopping malls, and vendors, based on agreed budget and timeline;
  • Drive and manage PR functions such as press release preparation, media outreach, coverage monitoring, influencer engagement, product loan arrangement, sponsorship, interviews, events, customer enquiry handling, internal communications, and crisis management;
  • Create compelling, well-structured contents for key customer touchpoints across online and offline communication channels including website, social media, mobile app and instore, and be a gatekeeper for overall brand consistency;
  • Involve in reviewing and performing corporate and product information translation from Japanese to Chinese and English;
  • Identify areas for improving marketing ROI and effectiveness at an ongoing basis;
  • Stay abreast of marketing trends and tools, and explore new opportunities for brand growth or enhanced marketing efficiency;
  • Coach and develop subordinates;
  • Act as the project manager of any ad-hoc project as assigned.

 Requirements

  • Degree holder in Marketing, PR, Communication or related disciplines;
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience. Previous exposure to retail industry is preferred but not a must. Candidates from PR agency or media industry are also welcomed;
  • Sound knowledge of web and digital marketing is advantageous;
  • Possess excellent Chinese and English writing skills;
  • Proficiency in Japanese (N2 or above);
  • Creative, detail-minded, self-motivated, positive, and patient;
  • Able to work under tight timelines and a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills;
  • More experienced candidate will be considered as Manager;
  • Immediately available is highly preferred.
