Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the Development & Marketing Manager to plan, drive & co-ordinate various marketing campaigns & environmental programmes such as community education programmes, fundraising events & waste reduction / recycling programmes
  • Maintain regular contact & deliver presentation to donors and partnerships with media agencies and vendors for enhancing RP service
  • Solicit promotion opportunity & co-ordinate media exposure issues to strengthen the public awareness of RP service
  • Provide creative ideas for content marketing and update website
  • Acquire insight in online marketing trends and keep strategies up-to-date
  • Launch optimized online advertisements through Google Adwords, Facebook etc. to increase company and brand awareness
  • Prepare online newsletters and promotional emails and organize their distribution through various channels
  • Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of Web analytics tools (Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.)
  • Be actively involved in SEO efforts (keyword, image optimization etc.)
  • Supervise and coach subordinates to accomplish the objectives of the department
  • Perform any legitimate duties assigned by the supervisor & management

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • An understanding of the Christian faith, values and ethos of The Salvation Army.
  • Degree in Marketing, Management, Business Administration or related disciplines
  • Minimum 4 years' relevant experience in Marketing, preferably in FMCG or Retail industry
  • Proven experience on Digital Marketing, with excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices
  • Experience with B2C social media, Google Adwords and email campaigns and SEO/SEM
  • Perfect knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, NetInsight, WebTrends etc.)
  • Demonstrate good skill in market research and promotional activities
  • Organized, detail-oriented and possess excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Creative, strong sense of responsibility and able to work under pressure
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft application including Word, Excel, Powerpoint & Chinese Word Processing.
  • Proficiency in oral and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Putonghua)
