Job Description

About the position:

The Assistant eCommerce Manager is the driver to grow the online business in APAC. He/she will execute the global strategy in the region and support the markets to achieve commercial goals.

The successful applicant should have:
(1) Hands-on experience with eCommerce processes and systems (eCom platform, PIM and CMS
(2) Rich knowledge on UX and the end-to-end customer journey in retail environment.
(3) Strong communication and presentation skills

Principal Job Responsibilities:

  • Being the super user of Content Management System (CMS) to support local teams in product launch and content update. 
  • Act as the primary administrator of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) to support markets in site merchandising including campaigns/ promotions setup, A/B test, SEO, sorting rules, search optimization, content personalization, etc.
  • As a trainer to coach and upskill the local teams in using various eCommerce systems including CMS, SFCC, OMS, PIM, Payment gateway, etc.
  • Collaborate with digital marketing team to optimize the shopping journey from traffic to conversion.
  • Approve the frontpage plan submitted by markets.
  • Analyze the pain points in user flow with data support and suggest enhancements to meet the target of eCom operation KPI.
  • Ensure any localizations in APAC are included in global projects and facilitate the execution of global projects in each APAC market.
  • As the regional representative to present and prioritize system enhancements in the global application board.
  • Across any technical issues on websites and work closely with IT to prioritize the backlog.
  • Monitor loading speed with website analytical tool.

Other duties as required:

  • Manage fraud rules in payment system
  • Monitor inventory level
  • Oversee the fulfillment setup in the markets
  • Assist in the investigation of technical issues

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree holder major in business administration or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 8 years working experiences, in which 5 years related eCommerce experiences.
  • Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud is a definitive advantage.
  • Experience with Content Management system.
  • Premium retails/ international brands preferred.
  • Good experience in working with IT and system vendors.
  • Patient, exceptional attention to detail, can-do attitude.
  • Ability to work under pressure and multi-tasking.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills (English and Mandarin), other Asian language is an advantage.
