Job Description

Job brief
We are looking for a competent event manager to oversee and organize events that will help to drive sales and make an impact for the exhibition. You will ensure events are successful, cost-effective and need to pay attention to budget and timelines.

Only enthusiastic candidate who is desperate to be an event project manager with “can do” attitude and possessed the organisational skills, marketing and promotion techniques shall apply.

Responsibilities

  • Planning events from concept development to completion according to requirements, target audience and objectives, and report work progress to management regularly;
  • Ensure events are completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might occur;
  • Coming up with suggestions to enhance the events success;
  • Preparing budgets and ensuring adherence;
  • Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers;
  • Supervise all event staff and manage manpower (ie. helpers, coordinators, caterers etc.);
  • Coordinate the entire operations;
  • Work with Marketing and PR teams to lead promotional activities for the events;
  • Analyse the events success and prepare reports;

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Business Studies, Marketing, Hospitality, Tourism and Facility Management, or related disciplines;
  • Minimum 5 years in event management experience with at least 2 year in supervisory level;
  • Experience in international exhibition or event management industry is an advantage;
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, analytical and presentation skills;
  • Strong project management skills;
  • Knowledge of KPIs and marketing techniques for event management;
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation ability;
  • Good command of both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin;
  • Computer savvy, proficient in MS Office and Chinese Word Processing;
  • Less experience applicant will be considered as Event Executive;
  • Immediate available is highly preferable


Working Location : Lai Chi Kok, 5-days work
