As an Assistant Finance Manager, you will lead a team to execute various financial functions, including financial reporting, management reporting, group reporting, budgeting and planning, accounts payable and accounts receivable. You will handle month-end and year-end closing by coordinating with various teams and offices. 

How will you make a difference?

  • Lead a team and oversee a broad range of financial functions
  • Coordinate with different finance teams and regional offices to arrange the month-end closing
  • Handle the analysis, projection, forecast and budgeting
  • Arrange the year-end closing, ensuring accurate accounting records, statutory audit and tax compliance
  • Monitor accounts receivable and review inter-company reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly management reports and include your own commentaries
  • Oversee and implement process improvement and develop new automation processes for the financial functions

What are we looking for?

  • Qualified CPA member with a degree holder in Accountancy
  • 5 years or above relevant experience, preferably in a multinational company and/or one of the big 4 accounting firms
  • Skillful application of MS Office programmes – Excel, Office 365, SharePoint and experience in accounting software – Navision, SAP, JET Reports, TM1 and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is a plus
  • Ability to handle group consolidation and deal comfortably with contacts, at all levels, work without supervision and act using own initiative
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills across multiple teams and locations
  • A keen eye for detail, drive and motivation to ensure self and team succeed in achieving fixed and demanding deadlines
  • Good communication skills in English (written and spoken) with additional fluency in Mandarin
