Job Description

Our Human Resources Department is now inviting high calibre persons to apply for this position :

   

Responsibilities

 

The incumbent will work in the Corporate Human Resources Department of Chevalier Group. He/She will report to the Department Head and be responsible for the following duties:

 

  • Be a strategic HR partner, manage a team to provide full range of HR services to the Construction and Engineering subsidiaries of the Group, the scope of services include but not limited to recruitment and selection, payroll administration, performance management, employee relations etc.
  • Review, formulate and implement HR policies, ensure the compliance of Employment Ordinance, and keep abreast with the latest HR trend of the industry
  • Maintain close relationship with Universities and Tertiary Institutes, plan and organize recruitment activities such as campus recruitment talks, job fairs and Internship programs
  • Provide leadership and coaching to the team, ensure effective delivery of HR services and develop potential of team members to the fullest
  • Prepare reports and analysis for management review
  • Assist in various corporate events and staff activities
  • Participate in ad hoc HR projects and initiatives as and when required

  

Requirements

 

  • Holder of Bachelor Degree in Human Resources Management or other related disciplines
  • 7 years’ experience in Human Resources, preferably gained in the Construction and Engineering industry
  • An all-rounded HR professional, proven record in supervising a team to achieve recruitment targets and process payroll administration
  • Well-versed in Employment Ordinance, Employees’ Compensation Ordinance and other HR related legal regulations
  • A good team player, excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate with people of all levels
  • Presentable, mature, dynamic, detail-minded and strong analytical skills
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
