As a well-established insurance entity, we take care of every need of our customers with an optimized service excellence through the Bank’s retail and commercial network, with a dedicated team of professionals in place.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Assistant Life Product Manager.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Oversee the product development process of life insurance business and recommend corresponding product strategies/business promotion to expand the Bank's market share of insurance business
  • Formulate insurance product strategies and business plans with detailed product intelligence and market research for meeting business targets
  • Work with actuarial pricing team to optimize product design and respective internal requirements
  • Monitor the post implementation review after new product launch so as to identify the gap for future product development
  • Lead the end to end insurance product development cycle; pipeline management and approval process
  • Build strong relationship and understanding of our global insurance businesses and identify business opportunities
  • Adopt new accounting standard into the product development process
  • University degree in Actuarial Science, Economics, Finance or related discipline and qualified Actuary under one of the International recognized actuarial societies
  • Minimum of 4 years' relevant experience in the development of insurance products and/ or pricing, preferably with exposure to the banking industry
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Project management experience, organizational skills and ability to think innovatively.
  • Experience preparing and or conducting briefings and interfacing at all levels of management.
  • Demonstrated initiative, autonomy and commitment to process improvements.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically balanced with practical day to day execution.
  • Demonstrated negotiation, leadership and problem solving skills
  • Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
