Job Description

This fashion brand is expanding globally and they are looking for Assistant Logistics Manager to support day to day operations both import and export.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishes scalable logistics solutions (networks) in support of our growing international business which includes forward looking cost models with the ability to track and manage costs
  • Develops and maintain KPI's for the logistics network to monitor and measure equipment utilization, cost and lead time
  • Develops logistics strategies to support internal and external business partners, including distribution network infrastructure, transportation trade lane alignment, proactive capacity planning for distribution centers and transportation and identification and alignment of system tool needs with the business
  • Develops metrics and reports to monitor internal performance and forwarders, carriers and provider goals
  • Prepares, communicates and educates business partners and team on changes in policies and practices within the organization. Liaises and negotiates with suppliers and customers
  • Help develop and maintain the logistics sections of the Compliance guide and be proactive in maintaining it

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in Business - preferably in Supply Chain or Logistics
  • Knowledgeable of the regulatory and legal aspects as relating to the economics of distribution and transportation; as well as all aspects of distribution services, costs, operations and negotiations.
  • Proficient in international import and export regulations, customs, regulation, and VAT handling for China, HK and Japan
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including being proficient in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
