Job Description

A multinational bank is looking for a HKMA reporting specialist as Assistant Manager to join their team. It is one of the global leader in food and agriculture financing banking. You will report to a HKMA Manager and work back to back with other excellent members.t

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review HKMA regulatory returns, return procedures and update manuals
  • Enhance data quality, procedures and workflows
  • Perform the daily and monthly GL entries and controls
  • Reconcile the financial reports to the respective regulatory and management reports
  • Prepare breakdowns and analysis for returns/surveys
  • Assist in finance projects implementation and documentation
  • Ad-hocs duties

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting or CPA qualification
  • With 3-5 years accounting experience or at least 2 years of regulatory reporting experience in banking industry; Big 4 candidates are welcome
  • Strong technical accounting background and experience in accounting, reporting including understanding of regulatory reporting and compliance requirements
  • Basic Understanding of banking products and processes
  • Self-motivated and capable to work under tight deadline
  • Excellent in spoken & written English & Chinese
