This reputable Hong Kong Insurer is seeking an Assistant Manager to join the Underwriting department. Reporting directly into the Senior Manager, you will be responsible for case Underwriting while being involved in some Underwriting projects and exposure to the automation of Underwriting.

Responsibilities:
  • Process individual life and health applications
  • Case Underwriting
  • Handle inquiry from agents or brokers
  • Provide training to agents or brokers
  • Handle compliance related issues
  • Team management 
  • Training to staff
  • Underwriting projects and ad hoc activities
  • Be involved with Underwriting automation and developments
  • Ensure the agreed service standards are achieved
  • Assist in reviewing underwriting guideline
Requirements:
  • University graduates
  • 3-6 years’ relevant working experience, ideally in Underwriting (If less than this, can be considered for Underwriter position with growth)
  • Excellent analytical power
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Detail-minded, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager
