Assistant Manager (Ref. 19042404-E)
The appointee will be required to:
(a) contribute to the achievement of the internationalisation objectives of the University;
(b) oversee the daily operation of the student mobility programmes;
(c) develop, execute and evaluate projects and activities in promoting student mobility programmes;
(d) build and manage solid and constructive relationships with internal stakeholders at the University and overseas institutional partners;
(e) supervise junior staff in administrative work;
(f) travel overseas occasionally on partnership building; and
(g) perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of International Affairs or his/her designate.
(a) have a recognised degree;
(b) have at least five years of post-qualification experience in related areas of work, preferably with student programme/activities management experience;
(c) demonstrate creativity, flexibility, professionalism and stamina in his/her work;
(d) have an excellent command of both written and spoken English; and
(e) be willing to work outside normal office hours.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written language proficiency test.
Remuneration and Conditions of Service
A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement. Applicants should state their current and expected salary in the application.
