Job Description

Job Role:

  • Support the Agency Office Modernisation sponsor to perform various key data analysis covering multiple sub-initiatives across project portfolio.
  • Key responsibility to assess the overall project risk and mitigation plan covers 200,000+ square feet by implementing the modernisations factors across 20+ units, 2500+ members.
  • Key responsibility to manage change management impact to ensure minimum business impact across new business and recruitment. Work with core business team to address the key to any financial risk management strategy from plan of action
  • Drive analytics data strategy for agency recruitment development by adopting the new trendy insurance product, eg. VHIS, Defer Annuity. Foresee industry impact by simulating the public impacts. including data capture, data enhancement, data cleansing - with internal / external data management capability to enable quality analytics.
  • Manage business unit analytics through statistical modeling, campaign design and insight generation process, provide expertise when advanced analytics is required
  • Partnering with business to deliver the value adding analytics insights into relevant business actions
  • Exploit external data acquisition opportunities and work with external data sources (e.g. Partners) to maximize data enrichment value
  • Effectively present business insights gained from MI/ analytics reports to senior management for business decision making

Job Requirement:

  • Graduate or advanced degree qualifications in quantitative related subjects (e.g. Insurance, public health). Master would be an added advantage
  • 4 - 6 years of relevant working experience in data analytics field as statistician / analyst / data scientist
  • Good knowledge of predictive sales-force modelling, big data analysis, and data science projects: machine learning, statistical modeling, and data mining techniques & algorithms (e.g insurance companies, retail bank, chemical enterprise, credit card.)
  • Must have proficiency on risk management, certification of CFA/FRM is required
  • Must have proficiency on project management, certification of PMP is required
  • Previous exposure to / knowledge of sales force industry will be an asset
  • Strong analytical mind with focus on attention to detail
  • Proactive and with a can-do attitude
  • Proficiency in communication skill, strong command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin
