Job Description

Our client is looking for an Assistant Manager - Corporate Finance to join the expanding team to oversee M&A related duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To develop and run financial models independently to evaluate opportunities for projects and new business lines or related initiatives
  • To work closely with Project / Business-line teams on the development of commercial proposals on tenders and projects; assist on financial analysis and commercial proposal review
  • Interact with other teams within Group to support the review, governance and execution of these projects and initiatives
  • Provide quantitative and analytical support including preparation of business plans for the company
  • Conduct due diligence and provide support through research for market analysis of business opportunities, investment related transactions or establishments of strategic partnerships
  • Support review of commercial risks for any project, contracting bids and investment projects and assist with the documentation as required.


  • A recognised university degree in Business, Finance or related discipline (graduate degree preferred) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial and business analysis within Corporate Finance or Consulting related to utilities or infrastructure with preferably experience in new technologies
  • Lateral thinking with a flair for problem solving, strong commercial acumen and strategic insights
  • Strong business modelling and analytical skills, detail focused
  • Self-motivated, able to thrive in a cross-functional team environment and to work independently
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese
